Comfortable Camping Without the Tent
Nature's Campsites offers four cabin rentals and a popular caboose lodging option tucked among the pines beside Pachaug State Forest. You get the fun of a campground vacation with a roof, beds, and easy access to pools, trails, and weekend activities. Cabins are available May 1 through October 15 each season.

Caboose Rental
Our caboose sleeps up to six guests and includes a private bathroom plus heat and air conditioning. It is a favorite for families who want extra room and a unique place to stay. No additional tents or pets are allowed at the caboose site. Linens are not provided, and a $100 cash security deposit is required at check-in. A 15% occupancy tax applies to all cabin and caboose rentals.
Standard Cabins
Each standard cabin sleeps two adults and two children. Electric service and outside water are included. Cabins share the same campground rules as the caboose: no extra tents, no pets, no linens provided, and a $100 cash security deposit at check-in. They are a great fit for couples or small families who want a simple, wooded getaway close to the action.
What Cabin Guests Can Use
Cabin and caboose guests enjoy the same park access as RV and tent campers. That includes both swimming pools, bathhouses, nature trails, hayrides, movie nights, and the full activities schedule on themed weekends. WiFi is available in common areas, and the front desk team can answer questions during your stay.
Rates and Reservations
Nightly and weekly rates vary by season and day of the week. Current pricing for the caboose and cabins is listed on our rates page. Reserve online through ReserveAmerica or call the office at (860) 376-4203 with date and party-size questions.
What to Bring
Pack sleeping bags or sheets, pillows, towels, cooking gear, and personal items. Plan for outdoor meals at your picnic table or visit nearby restaurants in Mystic Country on a day trip. Browse the campground photo gallery to see cabins, the caboose, and park grounds before you arrive.
